Comments:
After graduating from Clemson University in 1983 with a degree in Chemical Engineering, I married Susan. I started working for Corning in the Wilmington, NC optical fiber manufacturing plant as a development engineer. Since then I have worked for Owens-Corning, Jacobs Engineering, Lucent Technologies and currently, X-nth. Susan and I have lived in Wilmington, Greenville, SC, Columbus, OH, Toledo, OH and currently Atlanta, GA. Work has allowed me to travel to Gremany, Japan, Brazil and Wales as well as all parts of the US. I no longer keep a valid passport to reduce the risk of traveling to Southeast Asia.
Susan works with Michelin in the North American Headquarters in Greenville, SC. She works from home, but travels frequently to Greenville.
In my spare time, I prefer to stay around the house to work in the yard in the summer and perform miscellaneous home improvement projects in the winter. I stay in shape by swimming with the Dynamo Masters in Atlanta. Susan and I also enjoy road biking and mountain biking. The past three years, hiking in the Greorgia, Tennessee and NC mountains with a swimming friend has been fun.
