Don was someone I met in junior high school. He was part of that McClure contingent LOL. He had a good sense of humor and we got along great. We really didn't run with the same crowd, being from different towns, so we saw little of each other. About ten years after graduation I ran into him again because he was the roommate of the bass player in my band. Small world syndrome... He was still the same joker and was still just as personable as the day I met him. Rest in peace Don.
Don was a great guy in school and a great guy later on in life. He quit his job at CSSC where we worked to start his own business. It wasn't long after,that he passed away. He was way to young and it made me think of my own mortality. Our days are numbered, our steps are counted. We have not the power to add to them but we have the power to make the best of them and to touch others.
